All of Raaka's chocolate is certified organic, certified kosher, vegan, soy free, gluten free, and Non-GMO and made with ethically sourced, transparently traded unroasted cacao.

Each chocolate bar is wrapped in botanical artwork from NYBG’s historical archives. A percentage of proceeds goes back to NYBG’s work in plant science and conservation, horticulture, and education.

Bourbon Cask Aged:

Single origin Tanzanian cacao is aged in bourbon casks for two months, creating a deeply nuanced bar with a cocktail-like vibe: oaky and smooth, with a hint of cherry cordial on the finish. Our best selling bar and 2013 Good Food Award Winner.

Rose Cardamom: 

Tanzanian cacao is steamed over rose petals and cardamom, conjuring a luscious and dreamy floral bar. Celestial, ambrosial, transcendental.

This bar celebrates the beauty and flavor of the plants that surround and sustain us. Raaka is proud to partner with their neighbor, the landmark New York Botanical Garden, which supports living collections of more than one million plants inside their 250-acre landscape and conservatory.

Jasmine Mint:

Jasmine and mint is steeped in cacao butter, then blended with single origin cacao for a soothing and uplifting dark chocolate. The chocolate equivalent to tea time.

This maple-sweetened bar tastes like a brownie straight out of the oven. Rich and smooth on the inside, generously sprinkled with toasted cacao nibs for a crispy, crunchy outside. A longtime factory favorite. Perfect for those looking for alternative sugars. Cane sugar free and paleo friendly.

Pink Sea Salt:

A fruity, complex salted dark chocolate to end all salted dark chocolates. Made with single origin cacao from Zorzal Cacao, a farm and fermentary within a bird sanctuary in the Dominican Republic, and sprinkled with Peruvian pink salt sourced from Salt of the Earth Co. We think New York Magazine said it best: this bar has a “deep, dark, mysterious flavor with hints of cherry; and a finish as long as a David Foster Wallace footnote.”

Ginger Snap - Seasonal:

Ginger-steamed Tanzanian cacao mixed with winter spice-infused cocoa butter and decorated with sparkling brown sugar. The perfect companion for holiday spirits.
